Verified open 2026-08-25. Two things the page says that are easy to round off, and should not be. (1) The discount is "Specified $/unit, up to 100% of eligible costs (incl. installation)"; a per-unit figure capped at 100%, NOT a guaranteed 100%: "There may be some costs that are not covered by the BizEnergySaver Program (e.g., additional wiring, by-pass for VFD, certain TSSA costs, etc.)." (2) It is the CITY OF TORONTO, not the GTA, "As of July 23, 2026, the program has expanded to all of Toronto. All postal codes beginning with 'M' are now eligible", so Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Pickering and the rest of the "L" postal codes are outside it. August 31, 2027 is an INSTALLATION-COMPLETION deadline ("eligible installations in Ottawa and Toronto must be completed by August 31, 2027"), not an application deadline, so the practical booking window closes earlier.
