FortisBC: Commercial Energy Assessment Program
FortisBC · FortisBC
What it pays
Free
Deadline: none stated on the source page
A free walkthrough energy assessment by a FortisBC-authorized consultant, delivered as a written report within 60 days, identifying low- and no-cost conservation measures, efficiency upgrades and the FortisBC rebates available for them.
Who qualifies
FortisBC commercial gas and/or electricity customers (or municipal electricity customers of Grand Forks, Penticton, Summerland or Nelson Hydro) who own or hold a long-term lease on a medium-sized business or small industrial or manufacturing facility.
Summarized from the official page. This is not advice; the provider decides.
Status note, as recorded
Status "unknown" for the same reason as the existing FortisBC entry (no intake statement is published) but the evidence for it being live is strong: the rebate value tile reads "Free", there is an active "Start your rebate application" button behind an account login, and there is no closure notice anywhere on the page. "Allow at least 30 days to process your application." Small industrial and manufacturing facilities are named in the eligibility text, which is what earns this a place in a factory-facing library. FortisBC program pages render below a large navigation block and shallow scrapers return only the menu, verify against the full page, not a search summary.
Program details change. Always confirm with the provider before budgeting. If this page and the official page disagree, the official page is right, and we would like to know, at info@quantifyenv.com.
Print this, then let us go and find the number it asks for.
Nearly every application on this list wants a measured figure that most plants do not have yet. Metering produces it, and we can help your team put the paperwork together around it.
