EfficiencyOne (Efficiency Nova Scotia) · Efficiency Nova Scotia
What it pays
Up to 50% of product costs in rebates, or interest-free financing for up to 24 months; the rebate is the amount listed in the rebate guide or up to 50% of the product purchase price, whichever is less
Deadline: none stated on the source page
Prescriptive per-unit rebates on efficient equipment (LED lighting, HVAC, refrigeration and pumping) taken instantly at participating distributors or claimed by mail-in application after purchase.
Who qualifies
Nova Scotia business, non-profit and institutional electricity customers buying qualifying products; pre-approval is required for data centre, water heating and solar measures and for any rebate over $15,000.
Summarized from the official page. This is not advice; the provider decides.
Status note, as recorded
Verified open 2026-08-25 with live "Before You Buy", "at the counter" and "After You Buy" routes. PARTIAL CLOSURE TO CARRY: "Beginning June 15, 2025, we will no longer accept applications for new construction lighting projects", RETROFIT lighting is unaffected, which is the case that matters for an existing plant. Per-unit amounts live in downloadable rebate guides, not on the page, so the 50% ceiling is the only figure that may be quoted. Instant and mail-in rebates are mutually exclusive on the same purchase.
Program details change. Always confirm with the provider before budgeting. If this page and the official page disagree, the official page is right, and we would like to know, at info@quantifyenv.com.
Print this, then let us go and find the number it asks for.
Nearly every application on this list wants a measured figure that most plants do not have yet. Metering produces it, and we can help your team put the paperwork together around it.
